Ross Garner, Owner and Problem Solver

Ross grew up around construction and continued to dabble in the trades through his college years. After devoting some time to counseling troubled youth, he returned to construction, joining Mike Hansen to complete the renovations of the Mt. Holly Theatre building. He designed and built his own new home – using green strategies to make the home both unique and energy efficient. Today his expertise spans design, structural integrity, roofing, plumbing, electricity, framing, and rough and finish carpentry. One critical element Ross brings to the table is his ability to creatively problem solve. He can cleverly identify the best solution to make your project come together effortlessly.

Ben Havens, Owner and Chief Organizer

Ben is originally from St. Louis, Missouri but has lived all over the US. During his travels he met Ross while working for a wilderness center in Boiling Springs, Pennsylvania. He ended up working with Ross on construction of his Carlisle home and their friendship grew into a mutual professional respect. Though Ben left to return to service as a youth counselor for a short time, he came back to Pennsylvania to partner with Ross at Creative Building Concepts in 2012. Since then, he’s taken the lead on many of the company’s projects, helped to systematize some of CBC’s processes, and generally provided awesome perspective as the business has grown. Ben specializes in managing the mechanicals (HVAC, Electrical, and Plumbing) for many of CBC’s projects.

While you won’t find Denise on the jobsite, she keeps tabs of everything that’s happening for CBC. She assists with managing subcontractors, handles the payroll, and manages all the invoicing. She is meticulous, full of positive energy, and the boss of everything. If you work with CBC, you’ll definitely get to know Denise, and you’ll be all the better for it.

If you have a vision – Harmony will make it reality. She magically takes your ideas, then designs them into the space of your dreams. She will work with you using her natural talent to create unique and memorable visuals for you. She is committed to staying current with trending design and constantly challenges herself to learn more.

Barney, Office Health Inspector

He manages the overall mental health and general wellness of the CBC staff. Through his diligent work, Barney oversees the proper distribution of joy and happiness throughout the office. He supervises proper lunchtime procedures and is responsible for the consumption of Freeses’s (Frozen Peanut Butter Cups). He leads the charge in proper self-care by leading the CBC team through his excellent example of mid-day naps, daily walks and cautious avoidance of sudden, loud noises. Barney has recently taken a more active role in Creative Building Concepts since moving to the new location.

Greg Nezat, Foreman Extraordinaire

Greg takes immense pride in making sure all the details are buttoned up. He has a long history in the construction industry and excels at keeping complex jobs running smoothly, making sure clients are in the loop, and insuring the finish product exceeds expectations. When you see Greg at your job site – you know you are in the best of hands.
