Our initial consultation is free of charge. This typically involves a short walkthrough of the property followed by a personal discussion of ideas, aspirations, and desired design aesthetics of the space to be renovated. Following the in-person meeting, we can provide you with a better approximation of an estimated budget before proceeding to formal design agreements and planning stages which specify material selections and a detailed scope of work.

We are available Monday through Friday during normal business hours to visit your house or other renovation location for an on-site consultation. Please visit our contact page to start with a free phone assessment.

Generally, we want to ensure that both of us have a clear understanding of the project and that we are a good match for your endeavor. This is typically a friendly getting-to-know-you call, although we also try to develop a general picture of the project budget prior to developing a more detailed estimate. We believe finding a contractor that you trust and feel comfortable talking to is the most important factor in developing an effective working relationship, and ultimately a successful renovation project.

Yes! We are fully licensed and insured, and we can provide our insurance information if you wish to review the documentation.

You should have a budget in mind before considering a renovation project. In our first preliminary consultation with you we will collaborate on determining a realistic overall budget that will allow for creative flexibility in the overall design. We have created numerous awe-inspiring spaces, but if your budget cannot accommodate our high level of craftsmanship and imagination, we may not be the best fit for your project.

Once an overall budget estimate is agreed upon, a more detailed proposal with itemized material costs and labor will be created prior to the start of any construction. Additionally, any unforeseen work costs will require your approval during construction, ensuring the budget is exactly what you expect.

While we will do everything in our power to keep the project progressing on time and within the bounds of the agreed-upon budget, it is possible unforeseen circumstances may arise that may need to be addressed. In such cases, you will be immediately notified with a ‘Charge Order’ in our scheduling system. No additional work outside the bounds of the proposal will be completed without your consent. However, it may be prudent to set aside a small reserve to cover such unforeseen expenses.

Multiple estimates can certainly help guide your decision-making process. However, in this industry you tend to get what you pay for, and price is not always everything. We believe it is of utmost importance that you trust and feel comfortable that the contractor can fulfill the full extent of your vision. We pride ourselves on our creativity and our ability to be able to build anything you can imagine.

We have an impeccable reputation for forthright honesty and customer satisfaction.

An estimate is a rough budget range developed during the initial consultation process.

A design agreement is a contract authorizing us to move forward with producing elaborate plans for the renovation both in architectural designs and 3D computer renderings. Design agreements cost a small percentage of the overall proposed cost of the project.

A proposal is a detailed list of material and labor requirements needed to complete the project. It will include exact architectural designs and a strict timeline. No physical construction work will start before a complete proposal is agreed upon by our team and our clients.

Each home remodel is unique, so this question isn’t as cut and dry as you might think. The duration of your project depends on multiple aspects, including size of the renovation project, scope of work and materials/finishes used. We prepare a construction schedule for each remodeling project based on our full understanding of the scope. We also work together with you to ensure it can be completed within the estimated time frame.

Your project manager will be in direct contract with you throughout the renovation process. We also make full use of today’s modern computer-based tools to manage your project and keep you updated. We keep all project documentation safely stored online. When completed, we do a final project walkthrough to ensure every detail of your project is handled to your complete satisfaction.

Having good communication with you, the client, is critical. We will keep you aware of the timeline throughout, but it’s also important to tell us about your budget at the outset. Being honest and upfront about your needs, time and budget constraints will help keep your project on schedule.

Remodeling projects can be very messy. We employ numerous methods for minimizing the impact they can have on the rest of your home or business. This includes covering HVAC registers in the work areas, as well as installing plastic dust barriers and drop cloths wherever possible to segregate the construction areas. Additionally, we utilize a HEPA air filtration system to filter dust and create negative pressure within the workspace. This makes it so that outside air is trying to get into the construction zone instead of air trying to get out (and carrying dust with it).

Our craftsmen are respectful and mindful of your needs and will seek to make the construction process as inobtrusive and orderly as possible.

In most cases, yes. In our experience, large bathroom, bedroom, kitchen, and business remodeling projects have regularly been in municipalities that required permits. However, If the project is small, a permit may not be required. Our staff will check whether a permit is necessary and handle the filing of all required documentation. A permit is useful in protecting against destructive lawsuits as well as ensuring the health and safety of neighboring parties is maintained during the construction process.

A general rule of thumb is that a permit will be required if structural alterations are required or if the general living area of the home is changed. We will advise you if one is needed, and it is our responsibility to handle any necessary permits. The permitting process has become more complex over time because of changing laws and regulations.

Yes! Our professional contractors are fully insured. It is important to make sure the contractors you hire are fully insured to avoid unexpected costly damages resulting from accidents, fires, or weather conditions.

The dust and dirt will be the worst in the demolition phase – once debris is removed, it should be fairly clean. Drywall installation and sanding creates a lot of very fine dust. We do our very best to seal off the rest of the house, as well as setting up a H.E.P.A. air filtration system; but a little dust can still get through. You may want to throw a plastic sheet over nearby sensitive items like electronics or fine furniture. We make special efforts to minimize our foot print during and after completing our work, so you can better enjoy the rewards.

We strive to provide exceptional results in every project we engage in and our construction is backed by a 2-year workmanship warranty.

Although we develop a detailed estimate of labor and material costs at the start of every project, there may be unexpected complications that require additional work to complete the endeavor.

Any additional work will be documented and processed through a ‘Charge Order’ in our robust scheduling software. You will be immediately notified of any ‘Charge Orders’ and be required to provide approval in the form of an online e-signature before any additional work is undertaken.

Our management system allows clients to always have access to view the current state and progression of every project. Although a project’s cost and timeframe may occasionally deviate from the original estimate, you will be kept informed every step of the way, ensuring that the final bill will not be a surprise.

Each of our craftsmen is an expert in their field and are insured and licensed to work in the state of Pennsylvania. Absolutely. We will work with you to choose the best components that match your design aesthetic and price range. There is a wide variety of material choices that can be customized, including cabinets, hardwood flooring, countertops, backsplashes, etc.

Unfortunately, we do not allow clients to purchase and provide the materials. We need to be able to ensure that a high quality standard is maintained by working with vendors whose products we trust will arrive undamaged and not have any unforeseen installation requirements.

Yes, we have an in-house design team that will work with all of our clients to create CAD drawings and renderings for each project. If your project is extensive and needs additional resources we have partnerships with local engineers and architects that can assist with the design.

Not always. Our craftsmen will minimize the dust and debris by isolating the section of your house being remodeled, as well as limit interference into your living space as much as possible. However, clutter and noise may still be a nuisance. In some cases, it may be more practical for you to temporarily move out, depending on the size and duration of the project. We can discuss the specifics of your project in a personal consultation.

We believe our track record speaks for itself. Most instances of contractors abandoning projects are a result of an inadequate planning process, or from taking on too many clients at one time. We develop a detailed budget prior to the start of construction that itemizes all material costs. Additionally, the ability for you to visualize your remodel in a 3D generated computer model helps to ensure that the scope of the project is fully understood and agreed upon with clearly outlined expectations.

If we decide to work together, we will do everything we can to keep the project moving forward as quickly as possible while keeping you apprised of all progress. When construction begins, you can be assured that you are our #1 priority. Our goal is your complete satisfaction.
